Looking back to the Digital Transformation & AI Awards 2025, the Best Digital Transformation — Financial & Professional Services category brought together a shortlist of organisations recognised for the steps they had taken to change how they worked and the positive impact those changes had produced across their businesses and key projects over the preceding 18 months.

Chartered Accountants Ireland was shortlisted for a Virtual Reality learning initiative that applied immersive technology to the challenge of building professional scepticism skills in junior and trainee auditors, demonstrating how a professional body can use digital transformation to address a capability gap that traditional instruction methods have long struggled to close.

Kinore earned its place on the shortlist through its My Kinore Platform, a digital initiative that furthered the chartered accountancy firm's broader ambition to use technology to reshape how it delivers services to its SME and startup client base, building on a track record of data-driven client engagement that had already earned recognition across multiple awards cycles.

Quantmatix was shortlisted for its Smarter Investing, Stronger Returns initiative, a digital transformation project that the judging panel identified as the strongest entry in the category. The programme demonstrated how targeted technology adoption within a financial services context could produce outcomes that were both strategically coherent and measurably impactful, earning Quantmatix the Best Digital Transformation — Financial & Professional Services Award.

The category recognised organisations that had demonstrated excellence in transforming their business through digitalisation, with judges assessing entries on strategic clarity, implementation quality, the challenges overcome during delivery, and the measurable outcomes achieved across the organisation's projects and initiatives.
