The Life Sciences Industry Conference 2026 has announced its first speakers, bringing practical expertise in artificial intelligence, digital transformation and manufacturing technology to a programme examining how AI can move from pilot projects into production.

Taking place on Thursday, 22 October 2026, at the Crowne Plaza, Santry, Dublin, the conference will focus on The AI Ready Manufacturing Site, with practitioners sharing their experience of implementing digital technologies and AI across complex manufacturing environments.

Trevor Marshall, Head of Consulting, Life Science Manufacturing at Cognizant, has joined the speaker line-up after more than 25 years working with life science customers worldwide on manufacturing and digital technologies. His role leading Cognizant's life science manufacturing consulting practice and sitting on its AI Adoption Council brings a direct focus on the challenges of putting AI into operational use.

Colm Bambury, Director of Digital Technology at Amgen, will also speak at the conference, bringing experience in advancing digital manufacturing across a global GMP regulated network. His work spans manufacturing systems, automation, MES, data and analytics, with technology and AI being applied to create value for manufacturing teams.

Eanna Kavanagh, VP for Transformation at ABM, completes the first group of speakers announced, bringing more than 20 years of engineering, construction and facilities management experience to discussions around large scale business transformation and operating models.

The speakers will contribute to a programme built around four themes, beginning with Trust, Governance & Responsible AI, which will examine regulation, data quality, cybersecurity, validation and accountability as organisations consider how to scale AI while remaining compliant.

The second theme, Scaling AI — Pilot to Production, will address the data foundations, integration, change management and return on investment required for enterprise wide deployment, directly connecting AI innovation with wider digital transformation.

The programme will then consider People, Skills & Organisational Change, recognising workforce preparation and new skills as central to successful technology adoption, before examining The AI Ready Enterprise and the role of strategy, investment and competitive advantage in future manufacturing leadership.
