Clarasys, the London-based management consultancy specialising in project management, process improvement and digital transformation, has introduced CAM.ai, an AI-enabled version of its 15-year transformation methodology. The approach matters to the sector because it positions AI as an extension of consultants’ capabilities rather than a replacement for them or a bolt-on to traditional models.
Clarasys was founded in 2011 by Matt Cheung, Claudia Meyer-Scott and Chris Hamilton, and Cheung has been chief executive since 2017. CAM.ai builds on the Clarasys Agile Method, which applies agile principles to every phase of a project rather than the build phase alone.
The same consultants who run client workshops can now configure and test the solution in the client’s own environment within days, on platforms including Salesforce, Stripe and Zuora, with no handover to a separate technical team. In practice, the firm says the difference could mean “having a conversation on Monday and seeing a working version of the change by Friday.”
Clarasys’s change management experts will still frame the problem, challenge assumptions, shape requirements and govern quality, while AI accelerates analysis, configuration, testing and migration within pre-agreed designs and client-owned test environments. A Clarasys expert reviews, tests and approves every piece of AI-generated configuration, and every requirement, decision and change is traceable from the original business conversation to the tested outcome.
Engagements using CAM.ai have compressed delivery timelines from months into weeks, without adding a separate technology delivery partner or changing the people clients work with. Clarasys is now adding further Model Context Protocol connectors to enterprise platforms to extend CAM.ai’s coverage.
Matt Cheung, CEO of Clarasys, said: “Clients do not hire us simply to produce a specification. They hire us to understand the business problem, make the right decisions and carry those decisions through to working change.”
Cheung added: “It means more conversation, less time-consuming documentation, and a better transformation experience for everyone involved.”
The structural driver is the loss of momentum between decisions, documentation, build, validation and migration, which CAM.ai aims to counter by shortening feedback loops after workshop conversations.
For the sector, CAM.ai shows consultancies re-engineering existing methodologies around AI with human review built in, rather than replacing consultants or adding AI to unchanged processes.
