TEKenable, the Irish AI and business transformation company, has doubled its Salesforce customer base and the average size of its project deliveries since acquiring Salesforce consultancy Tether in 2023. The result matters to the sector because it shows an acquired specialist moving into larger, more complex enterprise transformation work.

TEKenable, headquartered in Dublin, was founded in 2002 by Nick Connors and Peter Rose and, at the time of the Tether deal, had combined staff of more than 190 and projected revenues close to €21.5 million. Tether, a Gold Salesforce Partner headquartered in Dublin, has offices in Dublin, Manchester and London.

TEKenable acquired Tether in June 2023 to strengthen its Salesforce capabilities, and the integration gave the Tether team access to the wider business’s knowledge and resources to pursue larger and more complex projects. Tether is now being brought fully under the TEKenable brand.

TEKenable sees growth in both the private and public sectors in Ireland and the UK as organisations consolidate technology suppliers and combine CRM, service management, finance, field service, integration, data, AI and vertical-specific capabilities within wider digital transformation projects. It will invest in additional team members as the practice expands.

The opportunity spans Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Data Cloud, AI and Field Service, across financial services, manufacturing, healthcare, utilities, telecommunications, renewable energy and other organisations managing complex customer and operational processes.

Nick Connors, CEO, TEKenable, said: “Bringing Tether fully under the TEKenable brand is the natural next step for the business and reflects how closely our teams and capabilities are now aligned.”

Connors added: “Organisations want to bring sales, customer service, finance, vertical solutions, digital engagement, data, AI and operational processes together, rather than address each area in isolation.”

The structural driver is the convergence of CRM, service, finance, data and AI on a single platform, which rewards integrators that can deliver across all of them.

For the sector, the integration of Tether shows acquired Salesforce specialists being folded into a single brand once they have scaled project size, with Ireland and the UK as the target markets.
