Dell Technologies will bring together business and technology leaders at the Convention Centre Dublin, focused on how organisations scale AI from pilot projects to operational deployment; this is a commercial event announcement, not a transaction, and no deal consideration or counterparty arises.

Dell Technologies (NYSE: DELL) is a Round Rock, Texas-based multinational infrastructure technology company. For FY2026 (year ended January 30, 2026), Dell reported record revenue of $113.5 billion (€103.9 billion), up 19% year on year, with its Infrastructure Solutions Group growing 44% to a record $16.8 billion.

AI server shipments reached approximately $25 billion in FY2026, up over 150% year on year. Dell's Irish operations include a significant manufacturing and services presence in Limerick, where it has operated since 1990. The event is co-hosted with Intel, Microsoft and NVIDIA; none of the four companies' Irish-specific revenues are separately disclosed.

The structural driver is the gap between AI experimentation and AI deployment at scale. IDC forecasts AI spending across EMEA will reach $319 billion in 2026, growing at more than three times the rate of total IT spending, but the majority remains concentrated in infrastructure procurement and proof-of-concept projects rather than production workloads.

The agenda, covering data architecture, governance, sovereign AI and cyber resilience, maps directly onto the decision points organisations reach when moving AI from pilot to operations and find their existing infrastructure, data estates and security frameworks are not ready.

The sovereign AI theme is particularly live for Ireland. Ireland hosts the European headquarters of nine of the ten largest global technology companies alongside a growing indigenous enterprise base, all of which face overlapping pressures from EU AI Act compliance obligations, GDPR data residency requirements, and the NIS2 directive's expanded cyber resilience obligations taking effect in 2025 and 2026.

Dell's choice of Dublin reflects the density of both hyperscale and enterprise AI investment in the Irish market. The Convention Centre venue and inclusion of Intel, Microsoft and NVIDIA as co-hosts signals this is aimed at C-suite and infrastructure decision-makers rather than a developer or technical audience.
