Dublin-based technology provider Data Direct has acquired Kinsetsu, a specialist in internet of things (IoT) and smart location solutions.
The transaction was completed via Data Direct’s new subsidiary Kiniot Ltd. The value of the deal has not be disclosed.
Kinsetsu will continue to operate as an independent business following the acquisition, but is now backed by Data Direct’s scale, supplier ecosystem and nationwide servicing capabilities, the company said.
