Irish IT managed service provider FutureRange has acquired Nenagh-based Echo IT, marking its second acquisition of 2026 and extending its footprint across Munster as it pursues an all-island growth strategy centred on cyber security, cloud and managed IT services. The deal, reported by Irish Tech News, will see Echo IT integrated into FutureRange's Limerick operations, with service continuity maintained for existing clients.
Echo IT serves clients across the veterinary, distribution, medical and agri-foods sectors. The two companies share an established working relationship in cyber security and strong alignment across technology platforms, supporting a structured integration.
Danny McEntee, managing director of FutureRange, said: "This is another step in delivering our all-island growth strategy. Echo IT is a strong regional business with deep client relationships, and there is a natural fit in how we approach service delivery and technology."
McEntee added: "We are seeing consistent demand from organisations for partners who can provide clarity, security and long-term support as their environments become more complex."
Donal Bray, Managing Director of Echo IT, said: "Joining FutureRange allows us to continue that while giving our clients access to broader expertise and a more resilient service platform."
FutureRange operates as a security-first managed services partner, with capabilities spanning cyber security, cloud and infrastructure, and the structured adoption of data and AI. The company has outlined plans to create up to 50 roles over the next 24 months as demand for managed IT services continues to grow.
The business has indicated it continues to assess further acquisition opportunities as part of its expansion plans.
