Global IT services company Hexaware has acquired UK-based technology consulting firm Consulting Professionals, creating a combined headcount of more than 450 staff as it reinforces its position as an AI and cloud transformation partner across Europe. The deal, reported by Consultancy UK, is expected to close within two weeks and deepens Hexaware's advisory capabilities in regulatory compliance, technology infrastructure, governance and risk, and business transformation.

Hexaware recently posted 11.6% growth in Europe and employs more than 420 staff in the UK. The acquisition adds Consulting Professionals' specialist consulting capacity to Hexaware's existing delivery model, with the combined entity targeting large enterprise accounts across the region.

Parameshwaran Iyer, country head for the UK and Ireland at Hexaware, said: "Our customers are increasingly looking for partners who bring trusted advisory and execution excellence. CP brings a strong consulting capability which aligns with our purpose of creating smiles by delivering business value."

Amjad Riaz, managing partner at Consulting Professionals, said: "We believe this transaction will enable us to deliver greater value to our clients drawing on the wider capabilities of Hexaware."

Consulting Professionals has built its practice primarily across financial services and market infrastructure, sectors where demand for integrated AI and cloud transformation services has accelerated as firms navigate regulatory complexity and technology modernisation simultaneously.

The acquisition reflects a broader trend among global IT services providers of bolstering consulting arms to compete for outcome-led transformation mandates, where advisory capability and technical execution are increasingly evaluated together rather than as separate engagements.
