UK-based digital transformation company Kerv has appointed Steve Bell as chief executive officer, effective 13 April, marking a significant leadership milestone as the business positions itself for its next phase of growth and digital transformation delivery.

According to Kerv, Bell brings more than 25 years of leadership experience across creative, digital and strategy-led businesses, with a strong track record of building high-performing teams, encouraging innovation and scaling organisations with purpose across global markets.

His background spans senior roles at Everplay Group plc, where he served as group CEO of a global gaming publisher and developer, leading the business through a period of transformation and growth in the public markets. He also co-founded Iris Worldwide, a multi-discipline global marketing consultancy where he led a team of more than 1,000 people and partnered with many of the world's leading brands across multiple sectors.

Kerv said the appointment reflects the strength of its people-first culture, customer focus and collaborative way of working, qualities that were central to its CEO search criteria. The business cited strong momentum across the group as it looks to accelerate its digital transformation strategy and continue delivering outstanding outcomes for customers.

The leadership change comes at a pivotal moment for the digital transformation sector, as demand for technology-led business change continues to intensify across industries. Organisations are increasingly seeking experienced leaders capable of aligning digital transformation strategies with long-term commercial growth, cultural resilience and innovation at scale.

"This appointment reflects Kerv's confidence in its strategy and our belief in the opportunity ahead," the company said in a statement.
