Rasbot, a new humanoid robotics brand under the EVAD Technology Group, has launched in Ireland with a Robotics as a Service (RaaS) offering centred on Adam, the AGIBOT X2 Ultra humanoid robot, targeting businesses, schools, universities, exhibitions and events.

Rasbot is a new brand within the EVAD Technology Group, an Irish technology services group headquartered in Dublin; EVAD's revenue and EBITDA are not publicly disclosed. The AGIBOT X2 Ultra, manufactured by Shanghai-based AGIBOT (Zhiyuan Robotics), is a half-size humanoid robot standing 1.31 metres tall with 25 degrees of freedom and navigation, obstacle avoidance and natural language interaction capabilities, priced at approximately €160,000 in European full configuration.

AGIBOT held approximately 39% of the global humanoid robot supply market in early 2026 by Omdia's assessment, ranked first globally in humanoid robotics revenue in 2025 by Counterpoint Research, and had shipped 15,000 units globally by June 2026. AGIBOT has expanded into Europe through regional RaaS partnerships rather than direct operations.

The structural driver is the collapse in the commercial entry point for humanoid robotics. For most of the period from 2019 to 2024, humanoid robot deployment was limited to pilot programmes with unit economics above €200,000 and no accessible short-term rental model.

AGIBOT's RaaS distribution model changes both conditions simultaneously: a business can access a humanoid robot for an event, exhibition or educational programme without purchasing, maintaining or insuring a unit, removing the capital barrier that previously limited deployment to large corporates or research institutions.

Ireland is a commercially logical first market for this model. With the density of FDI headquarters in Dublin and Cork requiring innovation showcasing, corporate events and STEM engagement programmes, the addressable market for event and education-focused humanoid deployment is disproportionately large relative to population. The AGIBOT X2 Ultra carries European CE certification, removing the regulatory barrier that would otherwise delay Irish commercial deployment.

Rasbot's launch also carries a consideration Irish enterprise buyers should evaluate: all AGIBOT products carry obligations under China's National Intelligence Law, which requires Chinese organisations and individuals to support and cooperate with national intelligence work.
