Servecentric, an Irish-owned cloud, data centre and connectivity services provider, has announced the expansion of its long-standing partnership with ROCTEL, seeing ROCTEL double its infrastructure footprint with the data centre provider to support continued growth of its managed services business.

The expansion will support delivery of next-generation infrastructure, cybersecurity and AI-enabled customer platforms, reflecting ROCTEL's continued investment in strengthening operational capabilities across the platforms that support its customers.

The partnership, also covered by TechCentral, builds on six years of collaboration between the two companies. ROCTEL became the first managed service provider in Ireland to achieve Cisco Powered SD-WAN service provider status, a milestone in the Irish managed networking landscape, and marks its 25th year in operation as a Cisco, Palo Alto and Microsoft partner, having grown from a voice and connectivity specialist into a broader managed services provider over that period.

The additional infrastructure bolsters ROCTEL's Network Management Centre, Security Operations Centre and Firewall Management Centre, while expanding engineering capabilities and accelerating HyperCloud development. By doubling its infrastructure footprint, ROCTEL is increasing the capacity, resilience and scalability of the services it delivers to enterprise customers, positioning it to take on larger and more complex customer environments than before. Servecentric provides the secure infrastructure underpinning ROCTEL's expanded platform, delivering high-availability networking and resilient facilities from its Dublin-based Tier III data centre, guaranteeing maximum availability of ROCTEL's cloud infrastructure and AI capabilities.
